Fantastic site, am visiting the Barry Sheene International race festival this weekend.. The last time I saw Barry race was at the 1984 Gold Cup at olivers mount.. Seeing Barry come out of Mere Hairpin, on the back wheel adjusting his boot will stay with me forever.. I'll never forget also hearing of his crash in 1982 at Silverstone over the BBC. Silverstone suffered a drop in attendance that year, showing his magnetism. Thanks for the site, please keep up the great work

Very nice site, I am very much a fan of MR Sheene. Currently doing a Sheene 1978 paint job on my 1988 GSXR 750 slingshot.
Keep the good work up
Cheers,

Never meet Barry, never saw him race 'live' but always followed his races. These boys lived thier lives to the full, Barry and James Hunt heroes of our times....

Thanks for this wonderful site.
I never got to meet Barry but I love reading the stories from those that did. Barry did so much for motorcycle racing and I took great pleasure in watching him race in England.
I would love to see a rider of the same calibre emerge from the uk, but it hasn't happened yet, and so the legend lives on.
Kev
